Here at Oinks & Moos we strive to provide our customers with the best meat possible. We want you to eat the same quality of meat that our family eats - healthy and lean. We pasture raise all of our steers which means they are raised on grass and hay and finished the last 2 weeks with grain. We do not add any hormones to our animals and we only use antibiotic free feeds. The difference between "pasture raised" and "grass fed" is the fact that "grass fed" means they do not receive grain at any point and "pasture raised" means they are receiving grass, hay, and feed. The difference is the meat is very lean, very high in vitamins, and has a rich beef flavor. All of our hamburger is 90% + lean. You will definitely be able to see and taste a difference from store bought meats.
