Oak House Distillery and Speakeasy was founded in 2020 by UGA scientists with a passion for crafting artisanal spirits. It has the distinction of being the first legal distillery in Athens since the 1860s. The distillery produces award-winning botanical gins, Jamaican-style rums, and USDA-certified organic vodka. Located in the old Henry Bishop home built in 1864, Oak House Distillery is a unique Georgia destination.
